Volunteer Drivers Needed

Caldwell Care Network: Provide-A-Ride Program

The Caldwell Care Network, a non-profit volunteer organization, serves the residents of the Caldwell area by loaning out home health medical equipment (like walkers and wheelchairs etc.) and providing rides to medical appointments. We need additional volunteer drivers. Volunteer drivers provide rides to residents who need transportation to a medical, dental or vision appointment. Drivers are currently reimbursed .625 cents per mile to cover fuel expenses. Requirements for drivers are:

· Current Driver’s License

· Proof of Insurance

· Dependable and Safe Auto

The Caldwell Care Network Provide-A-Ride drivers transport to appointments in Caldwell. Out of town transport includes Enid, Wichita, Wellington, Winfield and Arkansas City for appointments. We average 3-6 trips per month. Most drivers make 1-2 trips in a month.
